Emilie is an Elementary School teacher from Melbourne, Australia with over ten years’ experience, and specialises in teaching students with Literacy Disabilities.
Grounding her teaching in best practice research, she has mentored both classroom and special education colleagues to develop their pedagogy and facilitated the implementation of new interventions. Emilie enjoys being innovative to ensure that intervention consistently responds to student needs. She loves learning and has continuously studied in the areas of Special Education and Literacy Disabilities for the past ten years. When not teaching or studying, Emilie likes to travel and experience new cuisines and cultures.
